About the award

This award recognises the company that places real value on students during a short-term insight or vacation scheme (1-4 weeks). The scheme must have run in the 2016-2017 academic year and contributed to the development of a future talent pool within the organisation.

Why they won

L'Oréal’s dynamic, forward-thinking approach is challenging their industry! Students participating in the spring insight were given responsibility for the outcome of a specific project whilst learning about different parts of the business. With two-thirds of ‘spring insighters’ being offered summer internships, they’re already seeing their pipeline from the previous year convert into graduate hires which shows exactly what one week’s experience can do!
