About the award

This award celebrates the university careers / employability service which helps students apply and maximise their work experience opportunities.

Why they won

The careers service showed excellent collaboration with employers which has seen a 24% year-on-year increase in employers on campus. Their new ‘employer panel‘ initiative has been particularly successful, seeing over 50 employers giving over 400 students insights into work experience.

Through initiatives such as their new Pizza, Prosecco and Placements event, they’re seeing third more students attending events compared to last year. On seeing the stats in engagement from students uptaking work experience opportunities Henley Business School and Reading Careers Service were clear winners.
