The NUE Awards

Hosted by RMP Enterprise and sponsored by PwC, the National Undergraduate Employability Awards celebrate the outstanding achievements of all stakeholders involved in undergraduate work experience.

The 2016 Awards took place on Friday 12th February and saw over 400 nominations from employers, universities and students across the 17 categories. Winners of each Award were selected by an independent judging panel, made up of key thought leaders in the industry.

Gareth Cadwallader, Governor of University of West London, and head of the Judging Panel, said of this year’s nominations, “The standard of nominations was once again outstanding across the sector. The commitment of some of the world's highest profile employers to engage with undergraduates, as well as the dedication from universities and students to the employability agenda, is extremely impressive."

“In the student categories, there are some fantastic role models for young people looking to take their first steps on the career ladder. It is a truly inspiring event!”

Desire amongst students for work experience has never been greater and our Awards highlight the exemplary work that goes on within organisations, universities and by students across the nation.

Competition for employment is fierce and it's essential that students are armed with the skills, tools and knowledge to increase their employability. Our Awards act as the benchmark for undergraduate successes.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our sponsors for their kind support. Each year, we’re able to grow the Awards and reiterate the message to all stakeholders in the market of how important work experience is for students. Without our sponsors, we simply couldn’t do this so a huge thank you goes out to them!
